Fire crews were on site last week fromWednesday evening until Friday afternoon at XX Rollin Road. Somme 1000 bales of hay had to be removed from the shelter, then checked out for smoldering. A-P landfill monitoring Alfred-Plantagenet Township council approved renewal of a contract with Golder Associates Ltd. of Ottawa for hydrogeological monitoring of the landfill sites in Wards 1 and 2.The total contract cost for 2017 will be $44,300, excluding the HST. The bulk of the watershed lies within the Bourget village area of Clarence-Rockland, but part of it is also within the township’s Pendleton village area.
