Dear Key Stakeholder,
We offer our sincerest thanks for your support of CREA Foundation. In 2023, we raised $538K in contributions, established our second university partner at California State University, Northridge, and awarded 20 CREA Scholars. Our 10 CREA Scholars at Indiana University Indianapolis (IUI) are thriving with an average GPA over 3.01. We are excited to share that our students are not only performing well academically, but they are experiencing great opportunities. In 2023, Kamya Williams, a CREA Scholar at IUI, had an incredible opportunity to travel to Ghana with a student leaders’ group from their Diversity Enrichment and Achievement Program. While not directly linked to the CREA Scholars Program, these are the types of experiences that the CREA Foundation aspires to pave the way for. As a corporate foundation, our commitment to the community resonates with our mission to improve the lives of youth and young adults facing financial barriers to success in the communities we serve by creating opportunities to further their learning, development and education. We are unwavering in our support of students from affordable housing communities by not only providing financial scholarships to support their postsecondary education goals, but comprehensive wraparound services through our university partners to ensure we help students cross the finish line. As a key stakeholder, we thank you for joining us in working toward our vision of providing next step opportunities in education with a focus on college preparation, access and success for all youth and young adults living within our affordable housing communities. In addition to the accolades noted above, CREA Foundation celebrated the following: • 69 individual donors contributed to the Foundation • 25 corporate partners contributed, becoming members of the Investor Impact Network • $61K was contributed to the Foundation by CREA, LLC employees • 85% of dollars raised support our comprehensive CREA Scholars Programs Thank you for your commitment to CREA Foundation.
