Attending our events enables you to add to your CPD and meet with influential speakers, respected academics and representatives from key organisations and establishments across the north-west and beyond, while connecting with like-minded CIPD members, students and non-members. We send out a regular newsletter to over 7,000 subscribers, keeping our community up to date on news, events and campaigns as well as CIPD membership benefits and conferences. Our committee comprises 16 volunteers of varying ages, areas and levels of expertise, who work hard to develop and produce a programme of activities to meet the needs of people professionals. Our branch Ambassadors contribute to the successful delivery of our programme of activities and play an essential role in preparing our venues, welcoming delegates, facilitating networking and providing delegates with information on our branch activities and the wider CIPD offering. We give our free time to bring people professionals together, putting ideas into practice, and making our voice heard in our communities. We are committed to providing you with learning at a local level, CPD opportunities and careers support. We also contribute insight on, and engagement with, local enterprise partners, communities and labour market.
