This sale is an important day for our program, and we appreciate you taking the time to join us, look through the cattle, and spend the day with fellow cattlemen who value functional, real world Angus genetics. Our focus has always been straightforward: phenotype first, with carcass value bred in — never traded off. The cattle in this year’s offering reflect years of selecting for the traits that matter most in our environment and yours: • Efficiency on grass, where cattle must maintain condition and convert forage • Structural soundness, with the foot quality and build to stay in the herd • Maternal strength, including udder quality, fertility, and calm dispositions • Balanced carcass merit, adding value without sacrificing the Angus look • Quiet, workable temperaments, because disposition is a non negotiable trait East Tennessee is a place that shapes cattle. Humidity, hills, forage based nutrition, and variable weather all demand cattle that are adaptable, efficient, and durable. Our herd has been developed with those pressures in mind, and we believe the cattle offered today will hold up anywhere cattle are expected to work.
