Volleyball: EVP Spiking & Serving 201 • AGES 11-15 Improve your volleyball attack. Spiking 201 is for intermediate players who wish to learn proper arm swing, footwork and jumping technique. Class drills keep players focused on reach and power while plyo-metrics training enhances vertical jump and game performance. The 3-step approach will be taught along with transition attacking. This is a coed league where participants will learn team defense and offense positions while improving your passing, setting, spiking and overhand serving fundamentals. Games take place on Thursdays against other players in 6’s or 4’s format. Game formats are based on skill-level of athletes. This program focuses on the discipline and training in foil. A foil is a thrusting weapon with a thin, flexible blade and a small, round bell guard. Martial Arts: ISKC Karate Adult • AGES 15 AND UP Release tension and develop total body fitness through karate! In addition to teaching self-defense skills, karate develops flexibility, muscle tone and improves core strength. Continuing students need to purchase additional protective gear. Beginning students will not be permitted to register in the current session after the second class has met. Registration for continuers through advanced students will be accepted after the start date, but full class fee will be required. Uniforms and belt testing are options available through the ISKC instructor for an additional fee.
