Class work explores unity of form and surface treatment with more complex forms using texture, color, scale and series of objects. Although the class title is “Advanced,” only a beginning level of clay work and familiarity with the studio is required. Your inspiration may start with Pinterest, but you will leave the class with art that is uniquely yours. Bring your inspiration, sense of humor and desire to explore your creativity in an environment that fosters personal growth. Each participant receives an individual space to store work. One-Stroke Painting for Beginners • AGES 18 AND UP Build your painting skills by learning and applying techniques made famous by Donna Dewberry. Through practice, become proficient in proper brush loading, which is the key to one-stroke painting success! Then, test your artistry to create a variety of leaves and flowers with shading and highlighting effects using just one stroke of the brush. You’ll want to paint everything you can get your hands on!
