Magic • AGES 5-12 Have a great time learning a collection of fascinating and mesmerizing tricks from the magic team of Gary Kantor! Amaze family and friends with tricks that involve cards, ropes, coins, mind-reading and more. All materials are provided. Receive a magic kit to take home. Little Doctor School I • AGES 4-6 Do you have a budding young doctor in the house? Our youngest future physicians will learn about the basics of the medical field through a variety of experiences and learning concepts. Participants will use a real stethoscope and other medical instruments, learn how muscles and nerves work together, cast a broken bone, and understand how and why to properly scrub their hands before surgery. Students will build a first aid kit and create models of the brain and spine. Send them to Little Veterinarian School to learn all about cats! To begin their learning, each student is given a white coat and adopts a plush cat that’s theirs to keep. Participants will examine a variety of topics including how to assess the health of a pet feline, animal nutrition, how to care for stitches, reading cat body language, and how to ensure a happy and stress-free pet. They also will learn about the many kinds of veterinarian specialties and have fun role-playing while learning and growing their knowledge. They will also learn basic horse nutrition, riding styles, gaits and role-play and basic key responsibilities of an equine veterinarian.
