HANNAH

STUDIED Health & Social Care Level 3

“ DESTINATION Gap year to work in the industry and then progressing to study Nursing (Children & Young People) at the University of Lancashire Hannah joined Preston College from Corpus Christi Catholic High School and completed several work experience placements during her course. The industry placement hours were split between two care homes and a nursery to allow Hannah to experience different environments and helped her decide on her career path. The variety of units on my course such as psychology, mental health and well-being, made sure that I developed a wide range of knowledge. The course allowed me to get a taste in a lot of areas so that I could decide what to specialise in. I am going to get some more experience in the sector before I go to university and eventually I want to become a neonatal nurse.
