MEDIA, IT & DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY
MEDIA, IT & DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY
The media industry has experienced significant change over the last few years with more and more streaming services being introduced to the market. The industry is also reporting a skills shortage in production, editing, engine coders, animators, and 3D programmers. Likewise, the digital industry is an area that sees constant change and innovation. Latest industry developments includes artificial intelligence, cloud computing, robotics, self driving cars and virtual reality. T Levels have been introduced in both the media and digital industries to bridge the skills gap. Developed alongside employers, T Levels are offering those who want to work in these areas the chance to develop their knowledge and technical skills alongside work experience. Opportunities also exist in the esports industry and the world of competitive gaming. At Preston College our esports courses will introduce you to this exciting industry and help you to develop transferable skills that can be applied to any industry.
