We are committed to making the environment better. We do our best to make responsible choices and we want to help you do the same. Recycling is one of the important steps to a greener future. Did you know that our containers are made from one of the most recycled materials among all plastics? It’s made from one of the most easily recycled plastics called HDPE (which is recycle number 2) and is accepted by almost every recycling program. In order to recycle the container, just remove the label and place the container into your recycling bin. One additional benefit is that our containers are not coloured. White containers are easier to handle and are more easily used in a circular economy. Containers made from plastics that use black colourants (used by some brands) are not accepted by most recycling programs. The lid that we use is PP (polypropylene) [recycle number 1] and is also accepted by most recycling programs. When we select the size of our containers, we have to give consideration to the space needed to fill each container. Additional space is required in proteins to accommodate the filling phase which has a greater volume when filled. We are always searching for ways to reduce inefficiency and increase cost effectiveness while bringing you the highest quality product.
Green Power Matters
The PERFECT Sports facility uses electricity that is generated using over 90% non carbon-based power generation. The electricity generated for our facility uses power that is over 90% non-greenhouse gas emitting! It’s an amazingly diverse mix of technologies that is considered a world leader;11% is from wind and solar, 24% water turbine generation, 58% nuclear generation.
