We Have What They Want! One of my favorite books is called Good to Great by Jim Collins. It’s about creating a great business, but it’s really applicable to so many areas of life. And he points out that if you want to do anything great, you’ve got to first confront the brutal facts. So, let’s look at the brutal facts that are confronting American households in today’s world.
Wages are not keeping up with inflation, so how are Americans keeping up? A lot of them are putting it on their credit card. Credit card debt in America is skyrocketing. And the cost of that is awful because interest rates—in some cases—have doubled or tripled. And that’s what the average American household is facing. Those are the brutal facts that every American household has to deal with. And that is exactly why the world needs us now more than ever. Families need supplemental income to help them because wages aren’t keeping up, and we have the answer for them. We’ve paid out $7.3 billion in commissions to date. That’s how solid our opportunity is! Hundreds of families have made over $1 million with Melaleuca. Thousands have made over a half a million dollars. Tens of thousands are now making solid, monthly income that comes back to them month after month. So, the message is that there’s tremendous opportunity here. It takes a while to build a successful Melaleuca business. It takes gumption. You’ve got to have stick-to-itiveness. Every successful Melaleuca leader has had to deal with failure over and over, but when it came at them, they took personal responsibility, and they plowed through it. Amazingly, the real magic is that 82% of our customer base have made absolutely nothing! Why would we celebrate that? Because that’s where the magic is. They didn’t join us because of the business opportunity. They joined us just because they wanted our superior products. They want to live healthier, longer, more vibrant lives—hundreds of thousands of them in North America alone. That’s why this is such a phenomenal business opportunity
Families need supplemental income to help them because wages aren’t keeping up, and we have the answer for them. We’ve paid out $7.3 billion in commissions to date. That’s how solid our opportunity is!”
One of the most serious things that’s confronting people today is inflation. Inflation is through the roof. They told us it was going to be transitory, but it wasn’t. The price of staples like bread, eggs, and milk has gone up anywhere from 50% to 200%. Now let’s look at the average house payment. Eight years ago, the average house payment in America was $1,426 a month. Today it has doubled to $2,825. In eight years, it doubled!

for anyone who wants to share the good news because those customers stay month after month, year after year. Did you know that more than 51,000 customers have been with us for over 20 years? Can you imagine that? Twenty years, and they’ve never missed a single month! No other company can say that. Other stores might have had customers for that long, but they don’t buy every month. But these 51,000 customers have bought every month for more than 20 years simply because they want our superior products. And that kind of customer longevity, that kind of customer loyalty, is what creates a phenomenal financial opportunity. That’s what makes us different from any other kind of company—it especially makes us different from the MLMs. Melaleuca’s business model is truly the model of the future, but in reality, we are the only company that is going to be able
to implement that model! Because no one is going to be able to copy us. We have a 39-year head start! It took us 39 years to get here! And we’ve been really working hard to maximize this advantage! We have dozens of jaw-dropper products that are protected with patents and trade secrets. We’re way out ahead, and we’re investing in new products and new tools like the new Grow app that we announced in May. We’ve invested several millions of dollars to create it, and that kind of investment over the years is what puts us ahead and is going to keep us way out in front of any other potential business opportunity that might come along. And we’re investing not only in new tools, but we’re investing in several new product initiatives. Last year, we introduced Riverbend Ranch Black Label Beef . That’s been really fun because it’s been the most successful launch of an e-commerce beef product line in the history of the United States. It just took off and it’s flying! Riverbend Ranch is the only fully integrated beef operation in the nation. We come with so many different advantages, but it took a $710 million investment to create this. And I think that’s compelling evidence that Melaleuca is plowing its profits back into your future, and that’s what we do. We’re here to build your future! Our mission is to enhance the lives of those we touch by helping people reach their goals. With all the economic challenges that are facing families today, people need us more than ever! We have what they want! Our mission is to help people have a great life. I hope that you will make decisions that will add to the greatness of your life because, more than ever before, families need what we have to offer! Sincerely,

A Great Life Starts Here!
We’re seeing an alarming trend in the United States. Americans are more unhealthy than they’ve been in a very long time. Despite the fact that the US has more than 113,000 gyms and fitness clubs, and Americans continue
At Melaleuca, our mission is to help people reach their goals, and we know that the core goal everyone shares is to have a great life. We also know that almost everyone agrees on the basics required to live a great life. No matter who you ask, good health is almost always first on the list. It’s impossible to imagine having a great life without enjoying good health, being pain-free, and having the strength and
to spend more and more money in this space, as a nation we are less healthy than we were a generation ago. In fact, the US is the only developed country in the world that has experienced a decrease in healthy life expectancy since 2010. That’s an important indicator because it adjusts the much more well-known life expectancy figures for the number of years that people live without chronic or major illnesses. In other words, it’s not only an indicator of how long you’ll live but how long you’ll live a healthy, vibrant life. This trend clearly indicates that more and more people are in need of better, more meaningful nutrition.

energy to live every day with enthusiasm. It’s safe to say that without good health, it’s difficult, if not impossible, to enjoy the other areas of your life. Your health is one of the most important areas you can invest in, and the time and energy you put into it now has been proven to pay huge dividends, particularly later in life. Melaleuca has spent nearly four decades as a leader in delivering nutrition via dietary supplements that are proven to provide measurable benefits in every aspect of your health, from heart health and cholesterol to restful sleep and managing stress.
From our twice-patented mineral-delivery process called Oligo ® to our proprietary, nature-based
formulas, we’ve spent years leveraging our expert team of scientists and researchers to identify the best natural sources of ingredients and the most effective extraction processes to ensure the benefits of those superior ingredients. Our unique formulas combine those natural ingredients using state-of-the-art science. The end results are formulas that deliver superior nutrition and superior results! When our products are put to the test, they clearly outperform the competition. We are able to deliver such extraordinary results because we are a different kind of company. As a privately held company, we are not chasing the quarterly results that publicly traded companies are beholden to. Nor are we trying to establish ourselves by chasing fads or simply relying on folklore to bring a product to market. At the foundation of our product development is proven, reliable science that is focused on delivering benefits. These are the types of

products that have month-after-month demand and keep our customers coming back. We’ve been fortunate to have a plethora of first-in-the-world discoveries from our research and product development efforts. And we have protected those discoveries with patents and trade secrets to provide our customers solutions they simply can’t find anywhere else. And we never stop working to improve. We are always looking for ways to enhance our existing product line and offer all-new ways to provide our customers with improved health benefits. Just look at the recent enhancements we’ve made to our Recover AI ™ supplement, which is included in our constantly improving Peak Performance Pack ! The Peak Performance Pack has been proven in four different clinical studies to improve 25 key health markers that are all indicators of health and longevity, and Recover AI is a significant contributor to those results
This new formula also reduces the cascade of free radicals that is caused by excessive, long-term inflammation. Fewer free radicals mean less long- term cellular damage caused by these excessive free radicals.* And this improvement was made without increasing the price of Recover AI or the Peak Performance Pack . As fun as it is to see these products developed, what I love most is seeing how these nutritional supplements are enhancing the lives of real people all around the globe. I recently received a handwritten letter from Jean Weis of Shawnee, Oklahoma. Jean has been a happy Melaleuca customer since 1995, and every month she gets the Peak Performance Total Health Pack . Jean is an avid painter, has recently started a bridge group, and her letter informed me that she just turned 100 years old— or rather, she’s a lively 100 years young! When I called her, she told me that she has been “faithfully taking her vitamins for nearly 30 years.” “I wrote that letter because I wanted to brag a little bit,” she says. “I don’t have any aches or pains. I’m still mentally sharp. And I’m thrilled that at this age, I feel this good.” Jean is a perfect example of living a life of health and vitality. Our goal is to help everyone enjoy the kind of life that Jean has lived—and continues to live! As a Melaleuca Marketing Executive, you can share products that no one else has access to. We have solutions for what the world needs. We can help people live a great life! We need to share our message with the world. I encourage you to think about who you can help. Who would you want to help live a longer and healthier life? Who wants to sleep better, manage stress better, or achieve greater focus? Who could use help with maintaining healthy cholesterol, blood pressure, or insulin responses? The solutions exist, but it’s up to you to share them.
Recover AI plays the important role of reducing activity-induced inflammation. In May, we updated our formula, leveraging a breakthrough in technology to deliver a form of curcumin that is over 100x more bioavailable, or in other words, has an absorption rate that is over 100x better than typical curcumin. One serving of this curcumin, which comes from turmeric root, delivers the equivalent benefit of almost 13 pounds of turmeric root! The result is a significant decrease in activity- induced inflammation. In fact, users of the new Recover AI reported a 67% improvement in stiffness and a 62% improvement in comfort after only 12 weeks of use!*
“I’m thrilled that at this age, I feel this good.” Jean Weis 100 Years Old and a Customer Since 1995

2024 Marketing Executives of the Year and New Corporate Directors 2 Kristian and Kristin Hoenicke An Insider’s Guide to Failing into a Life You Love How Kristian and Kristin Hoenicke went from homelessness to two-time winners of Marketing Executive of the Year.
“I’m exceptional at failing,” says Corporate Director 2 Kristian Hoenicke. Is he being humble? Nope. Kristian has decades of experience in starting businesses that take more than they give, chasing “shiny objects,” and pretending to be someone he wasn’t. But Kristian and his wife, Kristin, have dug their way out of every hole that life has thrown them in and climbed up farther than most to get to where they are today. They are Melaleuca’s 2024 Marketing Executives of the Year, Melaleuca’s highest mark of individual accomplishment—a title they also earned in 2022. “Being named Marketing Executive of the Year is a big honor,” Kristian says. “It’s weird because I used to think you had to be good to achieve that. I don’t feel like I’m good at a whole lot—which should be exciting for every business builder who reads this. You don’t need to be good; you just need to be consistent over a long enough period of time.” The Hoenickes’ 16-year journey with Melaleuca has been circuitous, but looking back, they wouldn’t change a thing. As insiders familiar with hope, failure, tenacity, and achievement, their personal rise to the top of Melaleuca is inspiring.

Step One: Get Started, No Matter How Long It Takes Getting started is the first step of any journey. For the Hoenickes, it took a little longer for them to take their first step with Melaleuca than you might imagine. Kristian crossed paths with Executive Director 4 Kent Wonnell in 1999 when they both identified one another as potential business partners. Kristian wasn’t at all interested in Melaleuca when Kent told him about it. “My impression for years was that Melaleuca was this dusty, old, uninteresting, unremarkable thing,” he says. “I had no basis for that assumption, but that’s what I thought.” Despite multiple attempts, Kristian was never able to pull Kent away from Melaleuca. And Kent never gave up on Kristian, despite Kristian’s best efforts to shake him. It took nine years, but the Hoenickes finally decided to give Melaleuca a try. “Kent put me in contact with Corporate Director 9 Ed Bestoso, who explained the business model to me,”

What advice would you give to your 18-year-old self? Kristin: Be more intentional. Take a little more time to consider things before jumping in. Kristian: Don’t be in a hurry.
Kristian remembers. “The idea that we could earn repeat income was something I had never experienced. I’d heard such a thing existed, but I’d never seen any proof of it until Melaleuca. It was compelling.” Step Two: Chase Shiny Objects All the Way to Rock Bottom The Hoenickes worked their way to Director 9 status. But Kristian hadn’t completely let go of other pursuits, and he got distracted with other opportunities. “I went off and chased a lot of other things—dumb things,” he says. “I’ve tried to build businesses over and over and over again. Several different mainstream businesses, as well as a dozen MLMs. And I never succeeded. I’m exceptional at failing. I’m very, very good at it.” For the next seven years, Kristian opened a few businesses. Despite his optimism and work ethic, each venture put his family in a deeper hole. Things hit rock bottom when the Hoenickes were evicted from their home in 2011. With nowhere to live, Kristin took the
children to live with her parents in Washington while Kristian lived out of the family’s minivan in Texas as he tried to salvage his latest business venture. “We couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel,” Kristin says. “It was like we were in the deepest, darkest pit. I didn’t know what the end was going to look like. What if we didn’t get back together? I grew a lot during that time. I took charge of my own life. It scared me. I had to realize I can be strong.” Living off Costco hot dogs and working for a friend’s catering business, Kristian was able to get enough traction to pull his family back together again. But the call of yet another MLM lured the Hoenickes in. After a successful start and a move to Hawaii, they almost predictably began losing money. In an unconventional attempt to increase their cash flow, Kristian, Kristin, and their two sons bought one-way tickets to Malaysia. For the next year, the family bounced around the world chasing financial opportunities while quietly saving enough money to return to the U.S.

Step Three: Turn to the Tried and True
“My habit of making bad decisions was very strong and intact,” Kristian says. “During those seven years, I swung and I missed a lot. At the very end of 2016, we were again on the brink of eviction and all the terribleness we had been through before.” As though the hopefulness of the holidays was mocking him, Kristian recalls waking up one day with no income and feeling so deeply that he had failed his family. Again. In the back of his mind was that referral business he had worked on eight years prior: Melaleuca. Though Kristian and Kristin hadn’t put much effort into building their Melaleuca business for almost a decade, they had received a monthly commission check from Melaleuca every month without fail since September 2008. Though the checks weren’t much—about enough to cover their product order—the Hoenickes couldn’t ignore the fact that Melaleuca had delivered on its promise of repeat income. “Despite my distraction and lack of any kind of follow-up, it just kept paying,” Kristian says. “So I found myself thinking again and again, ‘What if I really followed through with Melaleuca?’” From there, Kristian and Kristin grew their business to Senior Director. Still, there were distractions. Kristian began an education company that did not take off. “Kristin called me to my senses,” he says. “I had come to a place where I could learn, grow, and be better. I knew that if I committed to Melaleuca, we could have an entirely different life experience. We had never had stability. We could finally be okay.” The Hoenickes made Melaleuca their priority in 2018, and, as they predicted, their lives have transformed. Step Four: Be Faithful to the Fundamentals Once you’ve completed the first three steps, you’re ready to make some serious headway in creating the life you’ve always wanted. It will take work and dedication, especially to get things going. “Early on, we sacrificed a lot of work-life balance,” Kristin says. Kristian agrees. “I gave Melaleuca an obsession-level of focus. But that’s what it took to get us away from the terrible cliff we were on.” Kristian has developed

incredible discipline to stay focused on what matters most. “I set a recurring reminder to go off every 15 minutes throughout the day,” he says. “It became really annoying, but the mission was accomplished. Every 15 minutes I would ask myself, ‘What is the highest and best use of my time?’ This forced me to pause, step back, and use the next 15 minutes in the best way possible. It helped me stop telling myself that cleaning my desk was a great use of my time. It’s easy to be busy, but if no one is being served, if you aren’t solving any problems, then you aren’t moving the needle at all. Lots of times I felt like I was working, but the Seven Critical Business-Building Activities were not being done. Melaleuca isn’t hard. The Critical Activities aren’t hard. Being focused is hard.” It’s no surprise that a duo as spirited as the Hoenickes embrace flexibility in the way they have built their
business. They have seasons of immense focus so they can have seasons where they go on family adventures for weeks or months at a time. No matter how the pendulum swings for them, though, they are determined to be faithful to the fundamentals every month. “When the Critical Activity Bonus was announced, I made a firm decision to never miss out on earning that bonus, and I haven’t,” Kristian says. “That bonus has been the most impactful thing to my team’s habits, trajectory, and bottom line income.” And that’s the strategy of Kristian and Kristin’s success—keeping things simple and repeating the Critical Activities. “I do the basics,” says Kristian, “and I don’t pretend to be good at any of it. We just read the Melaleuca Overview. We aren’t fancy. We don’t add anything to it. We start at the top and go to the bottom.”

And the flexibility and resources to enjoy that time. Finally having those things has created a whole new experience for us.” Last summer, Kristin, Kristian, and sons, Kole (19) and Karter (16), enjoyed an epic road trip across the United States visiting 12 national parks. Step Five: Build a Life You Love The Hoenickes have been married for 25 years. Eighteen of those years were spent worrying about income to pay bills. Now that money is no longer an urgent concern, they realize that they don’t think about it very much at all. “I was exposed to multilevel marketing when I was very young,” Kristian says. “One of the biggest mistakes I’ve made was trying to appear successful even though we weren’t. We weren’t authentic. I’ve learned that people appreciate authenticity more than a fancy car. People want the truth—and the truth is enough. It’s not only honest and simple but it’s far more effective to just be yourself. I wish I had learned that decades before I did.” Kristian says that even though they can now afford fancy cars and flashy jewelry, those things no longer hold the appeal that they once did. New Corporate Directors 2 On the heels of their announcement as Melaleuca’s 2024 Marketing Executives of the Year, Kristin and Kristian double advanced their business to Corporate Director 2! The glowing example of their success shines a light on the path anyone can take to succeed at Melaleuca. Put Your Stake in Melaleuca’s Ground Kristian will be the first to admit that he had some commitment issues when it came to building a Melaleuca business. Sometimes the grass looked greener in other pastures, and he pursued those things. He finally put his stake in the ground in 2018 and went all in with Melaleuca. That moment was a huge turning point in their success. Get New Builders Off to a Good Start If there’s one thing the Hoenickes feel they excel at, it’s getting new builders started. And the way they do that is by keeping their own Melaleuca Overviews and Strategy Sessions very simple. “We read the Overview slides word for word,” Kristian says. “At the end of an Overview, the person on the receiving end can imagine doing what we just did because it’s not complicated. They know they can do it, and I think that’s 95% of the battle.” When a new Member professes an interest in building a business, the next steps are simple. “When someone has just enrolled as a category 2 or 3, I say, ‘I want you to think of one person who shops at Walmart, Target, Amazon, or any other big store who might like to switch to a company that supports families and offers American-made products.’ We start with one name, set one appointment, and do that one Overview right away without worrying about anything else at that point. It’s just a very simple task.” Focus on Helping Others With maturity and security, the Hoenickes have realized that flashy possessions and impressive titles mean very little in the story of their success. Their modest attitude toward their blazing success is refreshing. Rather than focusing on their next advancement, they focused on sharing Melaleuca and enhancing lives. They set a goal of enrolling 5,000 shoppers. By focusing on the fundamentals of enrolling new Members, all the accolades, earnings, and advancements have fallen into place.
love for God—aspects they wish for their children as they enter adulthood. Even though they have now double advanced to be Corporate Directors 2, advancements aren’t their focus. Rather, they are far more concerned with helping others build the lives they love. “It feels significant that we’re finally helping people,” Kristin says. Being awarded Marketing Executives of the Year wasn’t on their radar this year. They hoped to earn President’s Club, as they enjoy the trips so much. They simply lost themselves in the basics of sharing Melaleuca and helping new customers open accounts. That just goes to show that when you put effort into the things that grow your business, when you love what you do, and when you live authentically, success takes care of itself. As 2024’s Marketing Executives of the Year, Kristin and Kristian are excellent examples of perseverance and humility. From everyone at Melaleuca, congratulations! LH

or $200 in repeat income every month. I don’t think there was ever a point in my previous business where she would have been able to do that.” Then last year, Lisa brought her daughters with her on the 2023 PartnerUp Cruise, and now they are full-on Melaleuca megafans! “They’d never come on a trip with me in my previous ventures because it wasn’t allowed,” Lisa says. “They were sitting on the ship and watching [Melaleuca Executive Chairman] Frank VanderSloot break a world record on the rower, and they just thought Frank was the coolest person ever. They were like, ‘We want to do this too.’” But their newfound Melaleuca fandom goes deeper than the excitement of the cruise. Lisa’s children can see how, with Melaleuca, she has time to spend with them and take vacations with them. And even with that time freedom, she has a steady, reliable income to help them as they’re embarking on their own careers. Her oldest daughter recently graduated from college with a degree in psychology; and with Lisa’s help, she graduated with zero student loan debt. “I think Melaleuca is something they’ll all want to get into eventually,” Lisa says. “With other companies I have been with, I just didn’t think those companies would last very long. But Melaleuca has been around for nearly 40 years, and it’s debt-free. I keep telling people, ‘This is it—this is my resting place!’ Why wouldn’t it be? I really think Melaleuca’s going to be a part of our lives forever.”
Before Melaleuca, Lisa Fuller’s three children (all of whom are adults now) had no interest in what she did for a living. “They knew there was money coming in,” she says, “but they didn’t understand or care what I did.” Even at dinner or at a movie theater with her children, Lisa would be on her phone working. Late at night, early in the morning, at all hours of the day, she would be working. And her children would point that out: “You always say you own your time, but you’re always on the phone.” But things changed when Lisa enrolled with Melaleuca. For starters, her children had requests for her product order every month—something that never happened with her previous business. Then they started telling other people about those same products and referring those people to her. And then one day, the unthinkable happened: Lisa’s oldest daughter asked if she could enroll and build a Melaleuca business herself. “She said, ‘I think I’ve got some friends and moms who would want to shop here—could I enroll?’” Lisa remembers. “She jumped in and advanced to Director on her own. I didn’t have to do it for her. And she maintains her business on her own. She brings in $100

interacting with people,” she says. “I build a lot of my business using social media, and I love doing content creation. I’ve always been on the artistic side, and I view it as a form of artwork. I study a lot of other people’s social media and think about things like, ‘What makes me click and what makes me swipe off someone else’s story?’ I find that really fun.” Building a business with a focus on the process, not the outcome, takes the pressure off. “If I hit a big advancement, that’s great, but if I don’t, that’s fine too,” she says. “I don’t feel unnecessary pressure, and building a business this way doesn’t create anxiety. I do the work, and if something’s not working, I try something else—I keep pivoting. But I keep doing the work, and I allow whatever’s meant to happen to just come. If I felt pressure about it, that would come across to my customers and business partners.” Meghan’s more relaxed approach seems to be working for her. So far this year, she’s already advanced three times with no sign of slowing down. “As I’ve built my business these last four years, my confidence has increased,” she says. “The more I find that people gravitate toward me for being my authentic self, the less I care about people who don’t gravitate toward that. And now that I’ve broken free from that, I just feel happier.”
When Meghan Dirk enrolled with Melaleuca, she intended to simply use EcoSense ® cleaning products. But within days, the global COVID-19 pandemic began, and Meghan was suddenly uncertain whether she might lose her main source of income— her personal beauty business doing hair and nails in person. “So I filled out my Marketing Executive Agreement, and I decided I’d try to make back the money I’d just spent on my product order,” she says. “It snowballed from there, and I never looked back.” Now Meghan is an Executive Director 5, and her business is growing rapidly. But that original goal—covering the cost of her order—is the only official goal Meghan has ever set within her Melaleuca business. Goal setting, as surprising as it might sound, isn’t really her thing. “I’ve found that if I set a goal and I don’t hit it, I get really discouraged,” she explains. “So instead, I focus on the actions that make me happy and build my business. I put my head down and do the work simply because I enjoy it.” Meghan concedes that what she does is still work; it isn’t all play. But the work she does building her Melaleuca business is the sorts of thing that she enjoys doing. “I really like meeting and

join me and become successful. That’s the complete opposite of what happens here at Melaleuca—there’s literally no comparison.” Several friends who knew her from past ventures also enrolled with Brittany at Melaleuca and found their own success through the support offered here. “If you are looking to start a business, then you know this is the right place,” she says. “You’re also going to have a community, and you’re going to have help every single day to make sure your business is successful. Melaleuca corporate leaders are here to help us. They want us to be successful every day in our business, and that all becomes very apparent at Convention.” The inspiring stories and being in a room with like-minded people are part of what motivates Brittany to attend Convention each year. “People need to see that there’s power in sitting in those seats, hearing those stories, and getting that engagement,” she explains. “It’s imperative to your business growth. You really can’t get that energy from anywhere else.” Having found a company where Brittany and her friends could find success and make a difference for their families, Brittany’s goals continue to expand. “My vision for the future is to have a million people making a difference for their families, whatever that plan is for them—whether that be saving money, swapping the toxins out of their home with some amazing products, or becoming financially stable—I will never stop telling the world what Melaleuca can offer.”
Six months after starting her business, Brittany Pollock attended her first Melaleuca Convention. A year later, she returned as an Executive Director 2. “Both times were just as powerful and just as necessary, and both have proven to grow my business,” she says. “If there were 12 Conventions a year, I would absolutely go every single month.” Eager to learn and driven to succeed, Brittany credits the motivation she receives at Convention for helping her business to grow. “I went to this last Convention as an Executive Director 2. Then I came home and our team exploded,” she says. “I just celebrated becoming an Executive Director 4 at ADVANCE in Chicago.” Achieving this kind of success was just not possible prior to her enrolling with Melaleuca. For Brittany, the fact that she could not only achieve her goals but also help others achieve theirs was a big draw when considering whether or not to embark on building a Melaleuca business. “Nothing compares at all to the last situation I was in,” she explains. “It was a constant buildup and then a crash every single month. wants to make it easier, better, and more efficient for us, and that speaks volumes to me.” But the biggest surprise she had at Convention was a personal one. “One of my team members, Director 6 Lisa Whyte, is a public school teacher who doesn’t have paid time off, so she flew through the night to come to Convention,” Kayla says. “I didn’t know she was coming until she walked in and surprised me. That was probably one of the most earth-shattering Convention moments for me—the idea that someone would fly through the night to make it to Convention.” For Kayla, Convention was also a great opportunity to spend time with her team and see their enthusiasm grow for building their businesses. “Just to be able to spend all the time together—eating together, hearing their stories, hearing more about their lives. It was definitely amazing,” she says. “It was neat to see it through their eyes because every single one of them caught the vision of where they’re going and set their goals for the next 20–30 years, not just next week. They went home with their minds expanded.” Overall, Kayla’s experience at Convention 2024 reinforced what she already knew about the company. “Melaleuca is too good to keep to yourself,” she says. “You need to have the courage to share it with others because you have no idea whose life you’re going to change along the way.”
Kayla Roberts attended this year’s Melaleuca Convention expecting to hear inspiring stories, attend amazing trainings, and return home energized to continue building her business. But there were a few surprises in store for her as well. “Just when I thought things couldn’t get any better at Melaleuca, they announced the Legacy Program,” Kayla says. “This new program has changed everything about our lives. It makes you feel safe, safer than you already felt, so that was just mind-blowing.” Another pleasant surprise was the new Sei Bella ® Purple Shampoo . “I have been praying for a purple shampoo since the day I got here because, as a blonde, I had no other option but to use a national brand’s product even though it was full of toxins,” she explained. “So I cried in my seat when the Purple Shampoo was announced.” Kayla also expressed her gratitude for the new Grow app. “I absolutely love the Grow app—it is making it so easy for people to come and get plugged in to their business,” she says. “Most companies don’t want to make things easier on the workers— they want to make things easier on themselves. But Melaleuca

Jazzlyn & Jamie Young TEXAS As Real as It Gets!
“I teach my team that a phone call will always give them the best results. However, I feel it’s disingenuous for me to get on the phone, catch up for 30 minutes, and then slip in a pitch at the end. Doing that just leaves the person I’ve called questioning my intentions. “Instead, I remind myself that honesty is the best policy. I’ll say, ‘I’d love to catch up, but I’m calling for a specific reason. I was nervous and all in my head about reaching out, but I realized that’s silly. You’re my friend, so here I am!’ Almost every time, the person will reply, ‘You were right to call. I’ll always listen to you!’ “No one wants to be around someone who’s feigning perfection,” Jamie explains. “We appreciate people who are real.” Melaleuca’s mission and founding principles are Jamie’s guiding lights as he develops Directors. “It’s not about my goals,” he says. “We focus on their goals and their ability to reach them based on their time, resources, and ambition. If I have one talent, it’s being able to put myself in the other person’s shoes. If they are coachable, I can help them get unstuck by finding the courage to connect with their contacts and be honest, vulnerable, and real.” Jamie loves that no one gets hurt with Melaleuca. He’ll ask customers, “What did you find that you love? Is there anything that you hate?” He laughs. “If they don’t like something, we call Customer Service together—because I know Melaleuca will make it right!” he says. “Thanks to the way Melaleuca addresses each customer’s concerns, that person now has complete confidence to try anything. That’s as real as it gets.”
Jazzlyn and Jamie's home business and consulting income of 15 years ended abruptly due to the global pandemic lockdowns. In order to avoid losing everything, they were forced to go deep into debt. Then they began to build their Melaleuca business. That has helped them turn their financial future around. While they haven’t achieved their goal of burning their mortgage at Convention yet, they’re making big strides toward becoming debt-free. In fact, the Youngs’ twentieth check from Melaleuca was 10 times larger than Jamie’s biggest check from his prior experience with network marketing! More importantly, after decades of feeling like he had failed his friends, Jamie is now helping them earn their own four- and five-figure checks by building their Melaleuca businesses. How is Jamie seeing such impressive results after less than two years with Melaleuca? It all starts with a phone call. Keep in mind that making calls to set appointments still takes Jamie out of his comfort zone. “I have the same fears, hopes, dreams, and aspirations that I started with,” he says. “I still get nervous. But I’ve learned there’s a lot of strength in vulnerability.
