EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS NEW ADVANCEMENTS

Wendy Bell & Joseph O’Toole PENNSYLVANIA

Broadcasting Her Values of Faith, Family, and Freedom

As Wendy began using Melaleuca products, she realized that Melaleuca offered more than alternative products from a US- based company. They worked better than any products she’d used before—and none of them contained harsh chemicals! She told her producer about Melaleuca, and he too decided to start shopping at Melaleuca. Though Wendy was content with being a shopper and hadn’t initially intended to build a Melaleuca business, she quickly realized how easy it was to share Melaleuca and how ready others were to make the switch. “People are hungry for an alternative to big box stores,” Wendy says. Since enrolling in 2022, Wendy has seen firsthand that Melaleuca is a company that delivers on its promises. “I toured the headquarters in Idaho Falls. Seeing the cleanliness of everything blew me away,” she says. “I went to the production facility where The Gold Bar ® is made. There was not a speck of dust on the floor. There was not a fingerprint smudge on the wall. There wasn’t a cobweb in the corner. It was pristine. If you live your life and conduct your operations in a pristine way, then your products are pristine. I get behind that one hundred percent.” And while the products alone are worth raving about, Wendy has found that the most rewarding aspect of Melaleuca is how the business model enhances lives. “There is a wonderful partnership within my team,” she says. “Everybody brings their strengths to the table and helps each other out. The number of people who’ve earned life-changing income is so gratifying. I really love that about Melaleuca.” LH

She may have won 21 Regional Emmys during her broadcasting career, but new Executive Director Wendy Bell felt like she won something truly extraordinary when she discovered a company that aligned with her desire to purchase products made in the USA for her home. As the host of a national television show and a talk radio program, listeners across the United States tune in to Wendy daily to hear her perspective on important issues that Americans are facing. Her desire to support American-based companies is no secret to her audience. One listener contacted Wendy and asked if she had heard of Melaleuca. Wendy hadn’t, and after hearing a Melaleuca Overview presented by Corporate Directors 2 Kristian and Kristin Hoenicke, Wendy realized she had a wonderful opportunity to align her shopping with her values. “I’m a mother of five sons, so I spend a lot of money on the things my family needs,” she says. “I should have been representing my values with how I spent my money, and I wasn’t. But I’m doing it now. The whole idea of faith, family, freedom, and the love of country pulses through the central nervous system of Melaleuca.”
