lated the event to her husband, not with any thought that he could help, for- he was already overburdened with men out of work and in great need, and a few days later he told her that a Chris tian man had asked him. if Ire knew of a family of Christian people to whom a Christmas dinner would be a blessing, and the Lord had laid it on his heart to suggest this family as the recipients. Later, the Christian friend came to the Bible woman with $25.00, given by peo ple who were absolute strangers to both her, and the needy family, to be expend ed in necessities for the children. And in addition to this, the husband secured work. It was the best part of the Bible ' woman’s Christmas this year, and it means, not only relief in a temporal way, but the child of God who had never learned to cast her burdens on the Lord had learned that seeking first the king dom of God and His righteousness, all necessary things shall indeed be pro vided for her by her Father in heaven. A Buodia Girl Two weeks after taking the Lord Jesus Christ as her Saviour a little Euodia girl said, “ I wouldn’t miss the Euodia Bible Club for anything, for that is where we learn all about the Lord Jesus.” The next week nine girls in this same Grammar School class took the Lord Jesus for their all-sufficient Saviour. The next week another girl came to the teacher and said, “ I want to be saved, too.” After showing her the way she gave her heart to Him. . A splendid Euodia Rally was given during the holidays by the three Euodia Clubs of Monrovia, the girls inviting their mothers and friends. After an hrnir of games the guests listened to a splen did Gospel Message. The program closed with a testimony service when from thirty to forty girls praised the Lord for having found Him during the past few months through the Euodia Club. One Euodia girl testified that before coming to the Euodia she thought that just being good was all that was neces sary for her soul’s ^salvation, but she had now taken the Lord Jesus Christ for her Saviour.

When the invitation was given, she readily expressed her desire to know Christ as her Saviour. The worker gave her the Word. She received it eagerly, and with the faith of a little child, she began reading the Testament given her with real delight, and her face, transformed by a new light, told of the new joy in her heart. She began'at once to bring other girls to the meetings and sought to lead them to the Lord. In a few weeks’ time she offered herself for definite Christian service. Learned to Depend on God -It was at the close of the first meet ing of our new Bible class that a woman remained to talk with the Bible woman. It was- sympathy she was craving, but she found something better, for al though a Christian, she had had no ex perience with God in the matter of def inite answer to prayer. There were four little children in the family, the husband was out of work and had been for some time, and the mother was des perate. The Bible woman talked to her about the promise, “ Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you,” and assured her that God was real and that if she, as His child, would real ly put Him first, her husband joining with her in this attitude, God was bound by His own Word to take care, of her. Then we knelt in prayer and committed the whole matter to Him. The next morning the Bible woman re lowing her arrival.
