Before this reign of Christ over the earth, other prophecies were to be ful filled. He must be crucified, buried, resurrected, ascended, become the in tercessor for His Bride-—His heavenly people; must come for them and have them with Himself in the glory; and must return with them to set up His^ reign here described. All of this must and will be fulfilled, as fully described in other Scriptures. .A.n appropriate title would be “ The Mallennial Reign.” (A) THE CENTER OF THE COMING KINGDOM, 2:2-4. (2) And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. (*>) And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he w ill teach us o f his ways, and w e w ill walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. (4) And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. (1) And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: (2) And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of w isdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; (3) And shall make-him of quick understand- Outline; (1) The Center of Messiah’s King dom, 2:2-4. Introduction: The title of a lesson should be such as would convey at least some sugges tion concerning the text of Scripture chosen for study, but in this title (as is also the case in the LESSON lesson for June, 1921, EXPOSITION where the same Scrip- T. C. Horton ture was used) we have another instance of strange departure from proper Scriptural interpretation,^ illustrating the unfortunate method so much used in trying to adapt Scripture to human -ideals and desires. In June the title given was “ Making the World Chris-
