Employers exceed all expectations as Gender Pay Gap Service see over 10,000 uploads 6 April 2018

As the second year for reporting on your Gender Pay Gap begins now for private and voluntary sector employers, they together with their colleagues in the public sector, will continue to measure the average pay gaps across their workforce.

Many resources are available to support employers who wish to address any imbalance they find as they respond to their obligation to report their GPG results.

During the 2017 National Work Life Week Working Families launched their online Wainwright case study library. National Work Life week aims to “showcase effective – and often simple – examples of how HR teams can promote and embed flexible working and therefore equality, in the workplace.”

National Work-life Week will be held 1 – 5 October 2018

More recently Working Families published a Blog written by Vivien Kelly, Communications Lead at the Government Equalities Office (GEO), who shared her experience of returning to work and about the GEO sponsored Best Returner Programme Award. GEO have recently published guidance to help employers to develop and deliver effective returner programmes.
