Dr. Torrey Will Take Up in Bible Doc­ trine, this Term: What the Bible Teaches About Man; His original condition; physical, mental, moral and spiritual. The fall; the agency and steps by which it was accomplished. The present standing before God and condition of man apart from Jesus Christ. The future destiny of those who reject the redemption that is in Jesus Christ: Eternal destruction and its meaning; Is there a real “lake of fire?” Is existence conscious or unconscious? Is punishment endless or only for a limited period? Is there another opportunity for the impeni­ tent? Are the heathen who have never heard of Christ lost? On what basis are the heathen judged? The Bible Chapter Summary Studies will begin with Ezra.
