CareGiver Training Institute

November is Family Caregivers Month! Happy National Family Caregivers month! We honor and recognize the importance of family caregivers. Many of our students started off as family caregivers; which sparked their passion to peruse it as a career. We have classes year round for those who seek out to get their certification. The caregiver class is 62 training hours and includes classroom lecture and skills lab training. This class prepares the student to take the state exam and become a certified caregiver.

Mission and Vision CareGiver Training Institute’s vision and mission is to transform lives through healthcare education, and to be the leader in Healthcare Education by elevating standards in training, inspiring excellence in our students and positively impacting the community.

The CareGiver Training Institute Industry Partner Program is an avenue for community care providers and students to connect. The program allows students and community care providers to interact and learn more about one another. It creates an opportunity for successful employment for both students and community care providers. The program allows high visibility for partnership between a company and CGTI/PCOA. Finally, participating in the program allows for furthering a company’s investment in providing high quality care to Southern Arizona. We’re currently strengthening our community connection with Industry Partners Arizona Homestead, Bayada Home Health, Catalina In-Home Care, Elder Care & More, Heritage Oaks Assisted Living, The Villas at Wilmot, Elder Care & More and The Oasis at El Corral Assisted Living.
