Now in its 14th year, the Nebraska Passport Program continues to be a popular way to invite visitors to explore Nebraska’s unique tourist destinations. 70 places have been chosen as Passport stops throughout the state after going through an application process, and this year two of them are in North Platte! The first local stop is Grain Bin Antique Town. Located in the scenic canyons south of North Platte, Grain Bin Antique Town is one of the most unique antique shopping experiences that you’ll find anywhere because it consists of over twenty historic grain bins and a massive barn that are connected by a boardwalk. Together they form a huge and eclectic collection of antiques. With con- stantly changing inventories there are new treasures both large and small to be discovered on each visit. They have been included in the “Antique Chic” category of the Passport. Grain Bin Antique Town is open Wednesday-Saturday 10:30am-5pm and is located at 10641 South Old Highway 83 Road, North Platte.
