Santa’s Workshop Every year Cody Park gets transformed into Santa’s Workshop! Santa’s Workshop has been a North Platte tradition for gener- ations. Now in North Platte’s scenic Cody Park, numerous animated vignettes portray all aspects of the Christmas season, from busy elves toiling away in the workshop to joyous children on Christmas morning. The workshop opens late November and runs through December 24 each night at dusk. Frequent special events include carousel rides and concessions, horse-drawn rides, visits from Santa, caroling, and foods of the season. Address: 1601 N. Lighted Christmas Village Drive-Thru Now in its 6th year, the Lincoln County Historical Museum is once again hosting a Lighted Christmas Village Drive-Thru, which is quickly becoming a beloved holi- day tradition. Located just around the cor- ner from the Buffalo Bill Ranch, the Historical Village is a delightful collection of important homes and buildings dating from the earliest settlement of the area.
