Nothing says summer like a big juicy watermelon. So why not add a little kick and take this summertime favorite to the next level? INGREDIENTS Chamoy Sauce Tajin Silver Tequila Lime Juice Agave Nectar or Simple Syrup Fresh Watermelon Ice
1. Take a rocks glass and press the rim into the Chamoy sauce. 2. Rotate the rim in Tajin until fully coated and set the glass aside. 3. In your cocktail shaker, add 1 ½ ounces of your favorite silver tequila. I chose Hornito’s. 4. Add in ¾ ounce fresh squeezed lime juice and ¾ ounce agave nectar or simple syrup. 5. Add 2 ounces of fresh watermelon juice. (For fresh watermelon juice, all you need is a seedless watermelon, a blender and a fine-mesh strainer. Scoop the watermelon into the blender, pulse until fully combined and strain.) 6. Add one scoop of ice into your shaker and give your margarita a quick shake.
7. Add fresh ice into your prepared glass and strain. 8. Garnish with a slice of fresh watermelon and enjoy! For an equally refreshing alcohol-free beverage, simply skip step three!
