The Lowry Hotel in Manchester has revealed a new transformative sanctuary – the RE:TREAT.

Offering visitors an all-new design, the spa features some of the most highly trained therapists in the city alongside new technology-based equipment such as a cryotherapy chamber, meditation pod and sensory deprivation tank, treatments using GAIA and ELEMIS products and the breath-taking fitness studio. On arrival, guests are greeted with a large reception area and coffee bar in an on-trend earthy palette. Encouraging comfort, warmth and relaxation, organic materials are at the heart of the design - from the coffee-coloured leather chairs and
textured tiles to the live wall with beautiful greenery and potted plants. Havwoods’ Bergen Rustic 125mm Herringbone boards from the Henley collection have been chosen for their modern yet timeless design and run throughout the reception, resulting in an open-plan space, but still with clear zones. The style of flooring helps to elongate the room, enabling the eye to travel from one end to another with ease, while the natural variations of the wood grains and knots immediately add depth and interest to the minimalist aesthetic.
