contemporary, classic, fresh and deeply personal. Ivie’s path into kitchen and bath design began long before her professional career. Raised by parents who encouraged creativity in many forms—music, painting, literature and interior design—she was given the freedom to develop her own creative opinions early on. That foundation continues to influence her work today, as does each new client she meets. For Ivie, the most successful designs are not simply fashionable; they are honest reflections of the people who live in them. This belief guides her consultation process from the very beginning. Ivie encourages clients to start by taking inventory of their needs, preferences and daily routines. Just as important, she says, is understanding what they do not like. “Process of elimination is huge,” she notes, explaining that clarity around dislikes can be just as helpful as a defined vision. From there, her role is to listen closely, interpret those goals and use her expertise to bring them to life in a way that is elevated, functional and thoughtfully executed.
