July 10: Concerts on the Green in Novato Bring a blanket, lawn chair, snacks and beverages to Novato Civic Green, 901 Sherman Avenue in Novato, for Concerts on the Green in Novato. This free outdoor summer concert series takes place on select Fridays from 6 to 8 p.m. July performers include the Sean Carscadden Trio and The Fell Swoop, offering a lively mix of Americana, blues, funk, soul, disco and dance-pop. July 1 - 5: Marin County Fair Carnival rides, concerts, exhibits, fair food, family attractions and nightly fireworks return with the 2026 Marin County Fair: Stars, Stripes & Stories, held July 1-5 at the Marin Center Fairgrounds, 10 Avenue of the Flags in San Rafael. The fair is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, with $30 admission at the gate and select early-bird and multi-day ticket options available in advance. July 8: Jesse Ray Smith at Sweetwater Music Hall Marin County-raised singer- songwriter Jesse Ray Smith brings his Americana-inspired sound to Sweetwater Music Hall, 19 Corte Madera Avenue in Mill Valley, on Wednesday, July 8. Doors open at 7 p.m., the show begins at 8 p.m. Blending heartland rock, indie folk and personal songwriting, Smith’s music explores themes of love, loss and resilience. The evening will feature a standing dance floor atmosphere. General admission tickets are $31.42, including fees and taxes. July 9 - Aug. 27: Summer Concert Series at Marin Art & Garden Center Set in the relaxed garden setting of Marin Art & Garden Center, 30 Sir Francis Drake Boulevard in Ross, the Summer Concert Series offers live music, food, beverages and dancing on select summer evenings. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. with music from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the Gazebo Lawn. Admission is $20 in advance, $25 at the gate, and free for children 17 and under.
