In a farm not far away, where the bright sun kissed the day, Lived a host of happy creatures, each unique in their own features. Letās explore, just you and me, what each farm friend helps us see!
First comes Clucky, the hen so proud, laying eggs, clucking loud. In her cozy, straw-filled nest, she produces her very best. Speckled, brown, or even white, her eggs are a morning delight!
Next is Daisy, cow so mild, In the meadows, sheās a child.
From her udders, flow streams of milk, Smooth as smooth and white as silk. With it, we can make cheese or cream, In our coffee or dessert dream!
Oink the pig, with snout so round, Roots for truffles in the ground. Though mostly known for mud and play, His contributions brighten our day. Bacon, sausages, oh what a feast, For breakfast joys, he provides the least.
Baa the sheep, with woolly coat, Gives us wool to knit our tote. But thatās not all, oh no, not quite, Lamb is a dish thatās pure delight. Grilled or roasted, seasoned right, A tasty treat, a foodieās light.
Then thereās Gobble, turkey grand, Strutting proudly across the land. For festive meals, heās often sought, Delicious dishes that mom has wrought.
Roasted deep with herbs on top, In our feasts, heās sure to pop.
Look at fields with rows and rows, Where Farmer Joe, with care, he sows. Carrots, peas, potatoes, beans, Tomatoes red, and leafy greens. From soil rich, under sunny dome, These plants will find their way to home.
Lastly, letās not forget the bees, Buzzing, busy among the trees. From flower to hive, they dance and prance, Turning nectar into honey by chance.
Sweet and golden, sticky flow, On bread or tea, itās good to go!
