The BICSI Cares Women in BICSI Cabling Skills Challenge (CSC) Grant provides financial support to assist with direct travel costs associated with participating in the BICSI CSC for a female competitor. The grant applicant must complete a BICSI Cares Women in BICSI Cabling Skills Challenge Grant application and must be accepted as a competitor in the Cabling Skills Challenge to receive the funding. Additional information and guidelines can be found here. If you or someone you know is interested in applying to compete but lack BICSI certifications, BICSI Instructor-Led Installation Classes are an excellent resource to gain the hands-on skills necessary to pass certification exams and qualify for the CSC. Five Points Infrastructure Services LLC This year, Women in BICSI (WiB) is in transition. Almost all voting members in the workgroup are new and represent a range of ages. We span various technical roles in ICT, including marketing, design, networking, and consulting. We are seeking additional volunteer help as we transform. To that effect, I want to discuss a list of goals for 2024 that align with our charter. GOAL: TO ENCOURAGE INTERACTION, PARTICIPATION, AND NETWORKING AMONG PEERS AND BICSI MEMBERS We are actively seeking candidates from WiB for the 2025 Winter Conference & Exhibition Cabling Skills Challenge (CSC). Itβs been two years since we had a female competitor, which does not reflect the growing number of women entering the science and technology fields and obtaining related degrees.
