First of its kind: VPH Experts Regional Academy (VERA)
On September 26 th & 27 th 2023, VPH and IMETA teams welcomed 80 KOLs in dairy/feedlot sector as well as VPH distributors representing countries from the Middle East and Africa. The meeting took place at The Hilton Al Habtoor City in Dubai for the 1 st edition of VPH Experts Regional Academy (VERA 2023). The first day delegates attended scientific and technical sessions touching key aspects on how to fight against Foot & Mouth and Blue Tongue diseases. On the second day, workshops were organized for best practice sharing & experience exchange on vaccination and different farm management topics.
The interaction between customers and technical committee was not only conducted during those sessions, but also during breaks and lunch, allowing fruitful connections & networking. It was a great opportunity for commercial/technical services of Boehringer Ingelheim and the KOLs/customers to truly interact and understand the needs of the communities affected by FMD and BTV. The event was rated highly by the attendees. Thank you to all the VPH & regional teams who made VERA 2023 such a memorable event!
