The 874 detached listings in Surrey in January were up 1.6% month-over-month but 30% lower year-over-year. January’s detached sales (402 homes) were 25% below December but 99% higher vs last year. The sales-to-listings ratio decreased in January, to 46%, as Surrey’s detached market remained in sell- er’s market territory. At $1.20M, the benchmark price for detached homes was 2% above December and 14% higher vs January 2020. The average sold price of $1.42M was 7% higher month-over-month and 20% above January of last year.
