BABYSITTER’S TRAINING This babysitter’s training class gives youth caregivers the skills and confidence to care for children and infants safely and responsibly. Through hands-on activities, interactive videos, and lively discussions, the course
teaches young people how to: • Care for children and infants. • Be good leaders and role models. • Make good decisions andproblem solve.
• Keep the children they babysit and themselves safe. • Handle emergencies such as injuries, illnesses, and household accidents. • Write resumes and interview for jobs. Certification for this class includes participant workbook, training materials as well as an American Red Cross Babysitters Training certificate. Attendance is required for the entire day to receive certification. *Training is 5.5 hours long with breaks. Please bring a lunch and water bottle with you.
