LITTLE DOCTOR SCHOOL Aspiring young doctors will dive into the world of medicine as they explore the tools and techniques used by real physicians! They’ll get hands-on experience with a stethoscope and other medical instruments, learn how muscles and nerves work together, practice casting a broken bone, and master the essential skill of scrubbing up for surgery. This immersive experience will inspire a love for science and healthcare, sparking curiosity and excitement about the human body and the life-saving work of doctors. SEA TURTLE EXPLORERS In this hands-on and engaging program, participants will dive into the fascinating world of sea turtles! Each young marine biologist will become the caretaker of their own plush sea turtle, conducting health checks and learning how to assess its well-being. They’ll explore the incredible diversity of sea turtle species, understanding their unique characteristics and habitats. Finally, participants will join a team mission to ‘rescue’ and release a Leatherback sea turtle back into the wild, gaining insight into real-world conservation efforts and leaving with a deeper appreciation for these amazing creatures and their ocean home. LITTLE DOCTOR CAMP Camp participants will role-play the key responsibilities of a doctor and learn about vital organs in the human body. These future doctors will learn how to use a stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, and reflex hammer.
