SCHOOL’S OUT FOR THE SUMMER SELF-ESTEEM LAB School has ended and pools are open! There is no better time to work on children’s self-esteem and leadership skills under a more relaxed schedule. While building these skills is always a lifelong journey, this workshop is a great kick-off tool. This self-esteem lab experience offers incredibly fun activities to boost our children’s gifts and talents for the 2025/2026 school year. Everyone is good at something; we just must roll up our sleeves and figure it out. Through wacky summer themed dramatizations and experiences, kids will have the chance to cultivate self-worth and will not even realize they are working on it! What to expect? Interactive games like: Splash Pad Encounter, Lollipop Marathon, Seashell-Me, King’s Throne, Balloon Bust, Cotton Candy Concessions, and more! Kid’s emotional “buckets” will get filled and will likely be overflowing with confidence when they depart this class. Research shows that children who had opportunities to build self-esteem as a child, display higher leadership skills later in life. In a self-absorbed and competitive world, garnering and keeping self-esteem is sometimes a tall order, but this class will help harness it! THE THRILLS AND CHILLS OF ICE CREAM Making and eating ice cream is a fun way to introduce early physics and chemistry teachings to children. Kids can become an expert on this beloved treat and billion-dollar business as we make a batch of homemade ice cream without using a freezer! Also, explore the science of amusement park treats and the first ice cream novelty treat invented on a stick. Then sit down for the most outrageous ice cream eating contest in town. Did anyone say BRAIN FREEZE? Who will be crowned King or Queen? This is a child’s dream class and all about putting the fun back into learning and building self-esteem. This class explores both Chemical and Industrial Engineering concepts, along with how this treat evolved. Don’t wear your Sunday best to this event, we will get sticky! During this class, we will learn the history of this iconic treat, enjoy a themed s’mores treat, and make perfectly stretchy ooey-gooey slimed scented like s’mores! Gathering around the firepit is a seasonal favorite, but this time we are gathering around our bowls to HAVE THE SLIME OF OUR LIFE with s’mores slime!
