Peak Venues has further developed its portfolio within the Peak District National Park after acquiring Grade II-listed Holly Bush Farm, situated near the village of Matlock, in a private sale. The property, purchased for £600,000, will undergo a £1.6 million, two-phase refurbishment into a hi- spec, self-catering, holiday accommodation while retaining its original features. Comprising a farmhouse, holiday cottage and four holiday lets, the development – set in an acre of land – is expected to sleep 35 people and will also be available for corporate events,. Keeble Hawson was commissioned for the scheme just months after the firm represented the developer in the purchase of a £1 million estate near Buxton, which will further boost the company's range of large executive holiday homes.
