Tag-Z Crankshaft Re-Conditioning
Tag-Z can now offer the service of re-conditioning your crankshaft. The crankshaft rebuilding process includes pressing apart the crank, installing new pin, bearing and connecting rod, and truing. Crankshaft rebuilding requires special tools that most people and a lot of shops don’t have. Performing a crankshaft rebuild is one of the most important components when rebuilding an engine - balancing/truing the crankshaft is the most important part. If this is not performed correctly the engine will vibrate and
cause the crank and related parts to have a very short life. *Please note Crankshafts must be in a rebuildable condition. Crankshaft Re-Conditioning #71-103
Tag-Z Cylinder Re-Boring
Tag-Z Cylinder Re-Boring. We have the capacity to machine from a single cylinder to a six cylinder. Pistons can be supplied for most models if required. Please en-sure your cylinder is clean before sending i.e. clear of all old gaskets, mud and grease (Failure to do so will result in a cleaning fee). Please make sure your cylinder is complete stripped down as well, all studs must be removed, power valves and exhaust manifolds must also be completely removed (failure to do so will result in an added labour fee). We also offer a service to sand blast your cylinder to give it that new look. Cylinder Re-Boring #71-100
