Butter Pecan Bakeshop is a black-owned, family-operated business with Southern baking traditions. What began as a simple desire to share Grandma’s cherished Nut Cake recipe transformed into a signature Brown Butter Pecan Cookie, a buttery, melt-in-your-mouth creation that paved the way for the shop’s growing lineup of cookies. After launching the first location in Pinole in 2021, the Bakeshop quickly expanded to Emeryville and Pleasant Hill. Many of their loyal customers in the Fairfield area were traveling long distances to visit other locations, so opening a shop in downtown Fairfield felt like the perfect way to serve the community. Since its opening, the Fairfield location has become a local favorite, attracting customers from across Solano County and beyond. It’s clear that the drive to Butter Pecan is worth it because so many visitors consistently make the trip just for a taste of their delicious cookies.
