Outreach Free Dental Care for Special Needs Children
Community Chest Limited (CCL) donated TT $90,000 to The UWI Special Needs Dental Clinic to provide access to dental services for children with special needs. Although the Dental Clinic offers services at subsidised costs, it was recognised that it would still be a financial burden for those who receive government subventions. The non-governmental organisation’s donation has enabled the clinic to provide special needs children with free dental care.
