Strategic HIGHLIGHTS
COPIR is directly responsible for monitoring the progress of the Campus in implementing the University’s Strategic Plan. The Office helped develop Phase 2 of the Triple A Strategy 2022– 2027, is guiding the Campus Implementation Committee to develop key initiatives to operationalise Phase 2 of the plan, and will continue to monitor and report on the Campus’s performance. The Office also supported the University’s participation in the Times Higher Education ranking exercise by collecting and collating data in the identified subject disciplines and in the institutional and financial sets required.
and current data on areas such as applications, enrolment, and graduation, allowing for comparative analysis on institutional performance trends. This year the Office satisfied requests for Data Planning Packs for the period 2017/2018 to 2021/2022, and supported an examination of course failure rates, as well as a 2021/2022 enrolment forecasting exercise. Data was also provided based on requests from external entities such as the Accreditation Council of Trinidad & Tobago (ACTT), UNESCO, NIHERST, the National Training Agency (NTA), the Jamaican Planning Institute, and from government ministries such as the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education.
