enner CHAROLAIS RANCH
2026 INAUGURAL BULL SALE norton, ks MARCH 30th
Cattlemen, Welcome to the Inaugural Renner Charolais Ranch production sale. We are pleased to offer bulls and females out of our 2024 picks of the Hubert Charolais Ranch, LLC cow herd dissolvement. We were not part of the beginning in 1959 when Craig’s maternal grandparents, Delton and Lois Hubert started our family’s entrance into the Charolais breed, but we intend to build on their legacy of producing cattle that make a difference in our industry. From our years as a 50% partner of Hubert Charolais Ranch, LLC, we have valued getting to know you. We reference past data from those sales and we look forward to producing new data from our Renner Charolais Ranch herd. Every bull and female has been 100K and PA tested which provides you with the most advanced data to make your selection. We acknowledge that the cattle industry is in uncharted waters of great profits for the cow calf producer. In a world where pounds have never paid more, Charolais bulls are exactly what to turn out for fast growing calves to sell right off the cow. We feel our genetics will create good value at an affordable price. All bulls and females sell as guaranteed breeders. If you are unable to attend our sale, please contact Cole Renner, Craig Renner, or bid online at DVAuction. Please join us Monday at 1:00 p.m. CST on March 30th, 2026, at the Norton Livestock Market, Norton, Kansas. We are offering 44 virgin bulls and 18 females in our inaugural Renner Charolais Ranch production sale. Sincerely, Cole R. Renner

EXPECTED PROGENY DIFFERENCES
MTL
Total Maternal EPD A value to predict the weaning weight due to genetics for growth and maternal ability. Total Maternal is calculated by adding ½ the WW EPD to the Maternal Milk EPD. Scrotal Circumference EPD The expected difference in scrotal circumference (expressed in centimeters) of a bull’s or dam’s male offspring at yearling compared to progeny of all other animals evaluated. Carcass Weight EPD Expected progeny differences for Carcass Weight is a predictor of pounds of retail product at a constant age endpoint. Carcass Weight EPD are expressed in pounds and is a predictor of the differences in hot carcass weight at an age constant endpoint. Ribeye Area EPD Expressed in square inches and results in larger ribeye’s and lower yield grades.
CE
Calving Ease Direct is expressed as a difference in percentage of unassisted births in first calf heifers. A higher value indicates greater calving ease. It predicts the average difference in unassisted births with which a sire’s calves will be born when bred to first-calf heifers. Birth Weight EPD The expected difference in average birth weight (pounds) of progeny. Birth weight reflects prenatal growth. (A lower value indicates the difference in average birth weight) Weaning Weight EPD The expected difference in average weaning weight of calves. The evaluation reflects the genetic influence on pre-weaning growth rate. Yearling Weight EPD The expected difference in average yearling weight of progeny. The evaluation reflects genetic influence on both pre-weaning and post-weaning growth rate. Maternal Milk EPD The genetic ability to express pounds of weight through dam’s milk. Calving Ease Maternal is expressed as a difference in percentage of unassisted births in first calf daughters. A higher value indicates greater calving ease.

FAT Fat Thickness EPD Expressed in inches, decreased fat should result in lower yield grades. MARB Marbling Score A primary component of USDA Quality grade, selection for increased Marbling Score should result in cattle with higher quality grades at the same age endpoints. TSI Terminal Sire Index Is a formal method of combing many EPD traits into one single value. The TSI represents a dollar index per terminal progeny produced, ranking them for profit potential. Example: If Sire A’s index is $191.00 and Sire B’s index is $200.00, then we would expect Sire B’s offspring to average $9.00 more net return than Sire A’s offspring.

Leading off the Triumph sons is Mr. Commissioner. His moderate build paired with his mass and thickness makes for a very eye appealing package. Mr. Commissioner may be the biggest boned Triumph son we’ve ever raised and he’s as sound as you can make them. If you’re looking for a bull who can cover a lot of ground to get the job done, look no further than Mr. Commissioner. His dam has weaned 4 sons with an average WW ratio of 106. His maternal brothers are working on the ranches of Cannonball Cattle, Scott City, KS, Nick Colson, Mankato, KS and Maddux Ranch, Mooreland, OK. Like his sire, Mr. Commissioner sports a REA EPD in the top 2%. SELLING ⅔ INTEREST AND FULL POSSESSION

Moderate birth weight of 83 lbs. He follows the pattern of the bulls above with his ADG being right at 3. He should contribute more growth to the next generation.
Back on the LT Triumph, LT Pyramid 6164 cross. This smooth sided bull’s full sister sold last year to Barrett Strunge as a yearling open heifer for $8,000. If your ranch is seeking a herdsire that can increase the terminal value of the next calf crop, you can’t go wrong with a Triumph out of a Pyramid.

This is one of the youngest bulls we have to offer. You will be pleased with the structure and muscle he will pass on to his calves. He’s an attractive, athletic bull that ranks in the top 5% of the industry for REA and top 30% for Carcass Weight. His granddam, Miss HCR Shana 5121 PLD was purchased by Full Circle Cattle Co. in 2023. She was one of my favorites and we are grateful to have another daughter of hers working in our herd.

The more moderate framed Triumph son of the pair of ET brothers. Champion is an age advanced bull who exhibits a big rib cage and muscle mass. He’s been a pasture favorite since the fall of 2024. We think he’s the more uniform of the pair . Their dam was used as a donor cow when her daughter, Miss HCR Mattie 6002 PLD was selected as Choice of the Herd in the 2022 National Sale purchased by Full Circle Cattle Co. Here’s a thick, well-built beef bull.
Standing just a frame size bigger than his flushmate, Conqueror presses down the scales with authority. Within his sire group, he holds the smallest actual birth weight of the Triumph sons we have to offer. A handful of his sisters are working in our herd. Their dam has placed bulls in the herds of Jared Bates, L&T Farms, Kolton Harting, Kenneth Moses, Scott Schertz, and Darren York.

Arguably the most complete bull in this selection. Reference has caught my eye all summer long as well as in the weaning pen. Here he is pictured early September. You’ll like this one. A nicely patterned stud backed by an outstanding dam whose udder quality is unmatched. His dam, Miss HCR Patsy 1145 PLD has placed a bull in Gerstberger Inc.’s herd. Look him over and see what you like. He’s got a solid set of numbers that complement his phenotype. Pair this with his super moderate birth weight at 78 lbs and let him help shape your herd. If you like old mobster movies like I do you’ll know exactly why I named this bull, “The Don”. He’s the boss around this Ranch. The Don himself commands your attention. He is the number 1 WW and YW ratioed bull in his contemporary group and his scientific data list him in the top 10% of the industry for 7 traits. Standing head and shoulders over the rest of the offering, 5041 is a mile long, deep and wide, and is as high performing and powerful as we can make them. At 3.87 ADG his is our most efficient bull in the lineup. We believe The Don is a top-notch herd sire candidate equipped with a fresh pedigree descending from an Elder’s Houlio 4H daughter combined with breed leading phenotype and genetics.

His granddam, Miss HCR Shana 5121 is an old personal favorite and his dam has sons working in the herds of F&DD, Burlington, CO, and Mike Rogers, St Francis, KS. A Citation son who doesn’t sacrifice a thing. He provides a very acceptable birth weight at 83 lbs paired with his birth weight EPD of -2. Genetically, he suggests you can’t go wrong selling calves right off the cow or feeding them out yourself. Growth and carcass anchored by a 4 year old WCR Icon 756 daughter. His great granddam on his Maternal side continues to produce in our herd.
Rounding off our Citation sons is a nicely made, thick bodied bull. Gaining 3.43 lbs on a ration designed to grow our bulls at 3 lbs sets him above several bulls listed here. His granddam on his Maternal side Miss HCR Rushmore 7080 was one of the most moderately built females that poured performance into her offspring. Her genetic line pops up more often than not throughout our herd.

These next 4 bulls are sired by the high selling lot of the 2022 Sale, HCR Bolt 1166 PLD who marketed for $30,000 with good friend John Allison of New Castle, KY earning the winning bid. Bolt was raised by Miss HCR Leah 5518 PLD ET who has written many stories for her operation. Her dam, Miss HCR Randi 9410 PLD was a great donor cow. His sire, WCR ICON 756 P pictured above is a deep, soggy specimen of a bull who is well renowned throughout the industry. Bolt checks a lot of boxes with his pairing of his maternal bloodline and being sired by WCR Icon 756 P. With Maternal traits as important to us as carcass traits at Renner Charolais Ranch, you will not want to overlook this set of Bolt sons.

We lead off the Bolt sons with a deep bodied stud with a dreamy birth weight, satisfactory ADG, and positive maternal numbers. 5018 has a Maternal brother covering cows for Tyler Hills of Colby, KS. His dam is an LT Authority 7229 PLD daughter.

their herd sire. On the maternal side, he’s as good as any. A performance bull with enough style to produce highly productive females. His full brother sold in 2025 to Ethan Schwarz, Oakley, KS for $9,000 and his maternal sister sold to Troy C Brown in Montpelier, ND. He stems from a very productive dam who also has sons working for Jared Beckman and Dallas Volk.

Here is a long sided and thick topped Nautilus son. This powerful, rugged bull was raised by a 10 year old dam. We strive to produce good stock at Renner Charolais Ranch and this stud’s dam has done nothing short of that. Miss HCR Stella 5045 PLD continues to produce for our herd. Easy for her to do when her udder quality hasn’t changed in 11 years. You’ll find a Maternal sister of his towards the back of the catalog for our Inaugural Production Sale offering. Take both home and reshape the base of your cow herd.
The highest marbling of the trio of Nautilus sons we offer you. He’s a great footed, long made, and heavy muscled bull that will add length and weight to a set of calves. 5075 goes back to that same cow family as Lot #26 on the Maternal side of his dam - Miss HCR Randi 9410 PLD.
