The Oaks Crematorium - Memorial Brochure

Scattering of ashes There are many thoughtful and personal ways to scatter a loved one’s ashes, allowing families to choose a setting that reflects their life, interests or favourite places. Some prefer natural landscapes such as woodlands, meadows or hillsides, while others feel drawn to water, whether that is a peaceful shoreline, flowing river or a dedicated scattering at sea. Modern options can include scattering a small portion into space or choosing a biodegradable urn for a gentle water ceremony. Each approach offers its own sense of meaning and comfort. What matters most is finding the setting that feels right for you and your family, creating a moment of remembrance that is both personal and lasting.
