The ecological evolution of the heating raised access floor

Radiafloor C is the newest innovation by Newfloor. It is an underfloor heating system which uses the carbon fiber as a resistor. It is composed by a X-floor panel with ceramic tile and a radiant module of dimension 51x51 cm applied on the bottom side. The heating part is isolated from the bottom by a layer of reflective material and an high density extruded, holded by aluminium box. With its 4 cm thickness, Radiafloor C results completely accessible, ideal for renovations and external spaces (for example dehors or surfaces defrosting). One of the main feature of this system is the flexibility. In fact, it is possible to define how many radiant modules can be used in each environment calibrating the power of the system. The radiant modules are connected by specific IP68 connectors that, in addition to be automated by an electronic control unit which guarantees the switching on and off in a very short time, are long enough to allow easy inspection of the plenum. Eventually, the system does not need a heat generator as it is powered by electricity. The use of the carbon fiber type PAN guarantees the emission of infrared-rays, which directly heat the solid bodies in the environment, avoiding thermal energy dispersions in the air. Moreover, the carbon does not generate harmful electromagnetic field, it is not subject to dimensional changes, it does not deteriorate over time and it is 100% recyclable.
