Don passed away on 21 March 2016 after a short battle with cancer.
Over a number of years, Don had built a very successful wholesale flooring business, Irvine Flooring, supplying commercial and residential flooring products throughout New Zealand. He was well known and extremely well respected for his vision and integrity, both in the international flooring industry, and throughout New Zealand. Don was passionate about living and lived a whole life in his 52 years – he made life happen. He flew helicopters for pleasure and adventure for 15 years and loved his time in the skies in his Robinson R66. Above all else, Don was all about family, and is sadly missed by Lyndal his wife of 29 years and daughters Olivia and Maddy.
