Queen’s Kindness At Queen’s, giving back is woven into the fabric of school life. Across all year groups, our pupils regularly support chari ti es and community causes, embracing opportuni ti es to make a meaningful di ff erence. From bake sales and dona ti on drives to fundraising feats and personal challenges, this year has once again showcased our pupils’ empathy, leadership, and commitment to making the world a be tt er place. Thanks to the School’s fundraising e ff orts this year, we have managed to raise over £5,500 towards a variety of chari ti es and causes.

Masquerade Spring Formal In March, our Head Girl Team hosted a magical Masquerade Spring Formal, bringing together students from Years 11, 12 and 13 — along with teachers — for an elegant evening of music, dining and fundraising. The black ‐ti e event featured a two ‐ course meal and live music performed by the band of our very own Deputy Head, Mr Penney, crea ti ng a truly memorable atmosphere. More than just a celebra ti on, the Formal raised funds in support of Queen’s ongoing partnership with the Be tt er Lives charity in Tanzania. Thanks to the generosity of a tt endees, the evening helped contribute to the School’s wider e ff orts to support sustainable development and educa ti on in local Tanzanian communi ti es.
The fundraising calendar began with a sweet start as pupils from across the Senior School baked up a storm for our annual Macmillan Bake Sale. Girls competed in a House Bake ‐ O ff with crea ti vity and fl air, raising £263 for Macmillan Cancer Support . Bake ‐ O ff Winners: 1 st Place – Elsie Mugridge in Year 9, for her horse cake 2 nd Place – Izabel Hardy in Year 8, for her hedgehog cupcakes 3 rd Place – Amelia Thane in Year 7, for her animal cupcakes In support of Children in Need , our Lower School girls embraced the na ti onwide challenge with enthusiasm, joining Paddy McGuinness’ sponsored cycling e ff ort by clocking up their own miles. From Year 3’s 311 collec ti ve laps of the netball court to Year 6’s 50 miles on a sta ti c bike, the girls showed determina ti on, energy and teamwork. Their e ff orts raised an incredible £2,891.85 — a powerful reminder of what can be achieved through collec ti ve ac ti on and compassion. At Christmas, Queen’s once again supported Cheshire Young Carers with an incredible collec ti on of dona ti ons. The charity expressed hear tf elt thanks, describing the contribu ti ons as “deeply appreciated” and “a meaningful di ff erence in the lives of extraordinary children and young people.” Red Nose Day brought colour and joy to the Lower School, with pupils dressing in red and enjoying themed cupcakes. The fun ‐ fi lled day was matched by the girls’ commitment to raising funds for Comic Relief . Pupil Champions Many of our pupils showed remarkable ini ti a ti ve this year, fi nding though tf ul and crea ti ve ways to support causes close to their hearts — making a meaningful impact within both our school and the wider community. Ava Smith in Year 10 raised an incredible £250 for Hospice of the Good Shepherd by singing to shoppers at Cheshire Oaks over the Christmas break. She also visited a local care home to perform for residents, spreading joy through music and connec ti on. Meanwhile, Anabelle Lipscombe in Year 6 took part in the Race for Life in Chester, raising a magni fi cent £577.50 for Cancer Research UK . Her dedica ti on and compassion
