the Welsh Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Swansea, Clemmie claimed Gold in discus and shot put, and Bronze in hammer. She followed this with another impressive performance at the Mason Trophy Inter ‐ County Match, winning Gold in the U15 discus. • Cross Country Our Year 5 and 6 pupils showed superb grit and determina ti on at the AJIS Cross Country compe titi on . The Year 6 team were crowned Plate Champions — regaining the ti tle they last won two years ago. • Basketball Our Year 6 girls made a fantas ti c impression at the Chester SSP Basketball tournament . As the only all ‐ girls team, they embraced the opportunity to learn a new sport, develop their skills, and perform brilliantly throughout the compe titi on. • Tennis Our U13 team impressed at the Chester and District tournament , securing silver medals thanks to their excellent teamwork, determina ti on, and skill. Meanwhile, the Under 14s stepped up to compete in the U15 tournament, pu tti ng on a brilliant display against older opponents — a fantas ti c achievement and a testament to their talent and resilience. Zara Douglas in Year 9 has con ti nued her outstanding individual season, winning the U14 Girls’ Doubles at Ellesmere College, placing third in the U14 Girls’ Singles in Lymm, and fi nishing runner ‐ up in the U18 Girls’ event at Ruthin. She also represented the North Wales U18 County Squad at a G3 tournament, securing a win in her singles match against Cumbria. Most notably, Zara won the Play Your Way to Wimbledon North Wales County Tournament , earning her

place in the U14 Girls’ Singles Na ti onal Finals at Wimbledon this August — an extraordinary feat achieved for the second year in a row. • Equestrian Annabel Heath in Year 6 and Darcie Quayle in Year 7 quali fi ed for the Pony Club Regional Championships at Kelsall Hill in the 70cm class, with Eliza Caldwell , also in Year 7, compe ti ng alongside them. Annabel’s sister, Millie Heath in Year 8, quali fi ed with her team for the Pony Club Na ti onal Championships at O ff church Bury this August, where she will compete in the 90cm showjumping class. Sophie Reid Entwistle in Year 7 enjoyed an outstanding showing season, earning selec ti on for the STARS Champion of Champions show at Aintree and qualifying for the Bri ti sh Dressage Associated Breed Championship at Onley. She has also been selected to represent Wales at the Bri ti sh Dressage Youth Inter Regionals . Sophie has secured mul ti ple na ti onal quali fi ca ti ons this season, including the Petplan Summer Fes ti val and BD U21 Championships . Orlaith Hughes in Year 7 also quali fi ed for the STARS Championship , where, as the youngest in her class of over 60 compe ti tors, she impressed in her fi rst showing season and na ti onal event. Olivia Kermode in Year 9 enjoyed a remarkable season, becoming Winter League Champion at Kelsall in both the 80cm and 90cm classes. She also represented Queen’s at the NSEA Eventers Challenge at Eland Lodge, where she placed 1st in the 70cm and 7th in the 80cm — qualifying for both the Hickstead Championships and the Eland Lodge Championships . Olivia then went on to place 3rd individually and 2nd as a team at the Pony Club Area 4 & 5 Championships Quali fi er at Kelsall.
