Isla Cur ti s in Year 6 also placed 3rd at the Welsh Tumbling League , rounding o ff a successful season for our Lower School Queen’s gymnasts. Gabriella Cook in Year 7 represented her club at the North West Inter Club and Regional Cup Q1 Trampolining compe titi on , fi nishing 2nd in her team’s category — a fantas ti c result in a highly compe titi ve event. • Dance Hope Mondey in Year 3 had a standout season, performing ballet and tap at the Sophie Gallie Dance Show and earning an invita ti on to a workshop at the Royal Ballet School in London, following her success in Grade 2 Ballet. Fellow Year 3 pupil Eleanor Dale also celebrated success, passing her Royal Academy of Dance exam — a fantas ti c reward for her hard work and dedica ti on. In Year 7, Sally James achieved her Grade 4 in RAD Ballet — a well ‐ earned reward for her perseverance

Ma ti lda Penny in Year 10 competed at the Cheshire Shields 2025 in June, placing 2nd and qualifying for the championships. • Pistol Shoo ti ng Sophie Mulcaster in Year 10, Abigail Mulcaster in Year 12, Chloe Roberts in Year 11, Eva Tierney in Year 11, Emilia Heath in Year 8 and Annabel Heath in Year 6 represented Queen’s at the Bri ti sh Shoo ti ng Schools Championships . Following the quali fi ers, Sophie, Eva and Abby went on to compete at the Na ti onal Finals — an outstanding achievement and a testament to their dedica ti on and composure under pressure. • Biathlon Sophie Mulcaster in Year 10 represented Queen’s at the Na ti onal Schools Biathlon Championships , fi nishing 7th overall a ft er a strong all ‐ round performance and determined e ff ort across both disciplines. • Tetrathlon Annabel Heath in Year 6 competed in the Pony Club Winter Triathlon Championships , represen ti ng her North West Area branch. She delivered a strong performance across the swim, run, and shoot disciplines, fi nishing 4th with her team. • Rowing Kate Longden and Sophia Andrew , both in Year 12, along with Kirsten Robertson in Year 13, represented Royal Chester Rowing Club at the Dee Autumn Head in October, securing fi rst place in their event — a fantas ti c result. • Skiing Penelope Collier ‐ Jervis in Year 5 has had another excep ti onal year on the slopes, represen ti ng Queen’s at regional, na ti onal, and interna ti onal level. Her achievements include mul ti ple gold medals in the Select Schools Ski Race League Series and the North Wales Winter Race Series , as well as two silvers at the Bri ti sh Schools Alpine Championships in Pila, Italy. Penelope was also crowned Na ti onal Schools Outdoor Champion and placed 1st Welsh U10 at the Welsh Championships . • Fencing Annabelle Latham in Year 12 has demonstrated excep ti onal talent on the na ti onal fencing stage this season. She placed 10th at the RAF Open Fencing Championships and 37th at the Bri ti sh Fencing Championships , holding her own against high ‐ level opponents including members of the GB squad. • Gymnas ti cs Alice Turnbull in Year 2 enjoyed a superb season represen ti ng Deeside Gymnas ti cs Academy, securing 1st place overall in her category. Florence Hogan in Year 5 helped her team fi nish 2nd

Elena Owen in Year 3 has shown impressive focus and perseverance, progressing to a full yellow belt. Her dedica ti on is an inspira ti on to all our younger mar ti al ar ti sts. Amélie ‐ Rose Godley in Year 8 has reached an incredible milestone, earning her black belt a ft er years of discipline and determina ti on. Earlier in the year, she passed her black stripe grading — just one step

below — making this achievement all the more rewarding. Rebekah Shuler in Year 9 also celebrated a major success, earning her black belt following a challenging grading examina ti on. Her commitment and resilience throughout her taekwondo journey are truly commendable. • Volunteer of the Year Olivia Kermode in Year 9 was delighted to be awarded Volunteer of the Year 2024 at the Winter Classic Prize Giving — an event that celebrates outstanding contribu ti ons within the equestrian community. The award recognises Olivia’s commitment and many hours of

voluntary service at the Equestrian Centre.
