The Bible Institute of Los Angeles, a training ground for front-line duty under the King’s com­ mand, both at home and abroad, in order to R E V E A L . . . to men and women on the city’s "East Side,” far down in the scale of life, discouraged, embittered, hungry both spiritually and physically, without hope in this world or the world to come— to little ones, as yet untouched by the sordidness of this world, but needing Him— to those abounding in this world’s goods, but poor and needy in heavenly treasure— to those in whom spiritual fires are burning low— to reveal C H R I S T . . . the only panacea for this world’s ills. How shall all this be done? It is possible as these soldiers of the cross now in training at Biola go into churches, factories, jails, mis­ sions, hospitals, foreign quarters, to turn the discouraged and defeated into conquerors through Him.
