Chapters Prepare for Fall Recruitment It may be summer, but our chapters have been hard at work preparing for recruitment this coming fall. Take Beta Mu at the University of Alabama , for example. Sisters participated in biweekly workshops throughout the spring 2025 semester to learn the ins and outs of primary recruitment. Alani Sage , Beta Mu’s vice president of membership (VPM), shares that these workshops have fostered an even closer relationship between chapter members. “Since our chapter is so big, these workshops have improved the overall experience of recruitment and Spirit Week by helping members get to know each other on a more personal level.”

For Iota Nu Chapter at the University of Kentucky , Spirit Week is an annual highlight. And while the days are filled with fun, they can be long. To keep energy high, sisters plan playful games to end each day. For Cate Nadziejko , the chapter’s VPM, one of her favorite moments was the waterslide set up in front of the chapter house at the end of last year’s Spirit Week. “It brought so many laughs after a long week and really helped strengthen our sisterhood,” Cate says. “Spirit Week isn’t just about getting ready. It’s about celebrating what makes Alpha Phi so special.” Whether it’s another waterslide year or something entirely new, Iota Nu sisters are excited for this year’s Spirit Week, which is just around the corner.

Iota Rho Chapter at Clemson University has built a true recruitment dream team. Chapter President Lily Rogers says, “We support each other through both our strongest and weakest moments,” a spirit that drives their approach this year. Their goal is to make recruitment both fun and meaningful while showcasing what makes Alpha Phi unique and the genuine connections within their chapter. Without giving too much away, Lily shares, “We’ve created exciting themes for Spirit Week that everyone is looking forward to, and we’ve secured fabulous venues to make the experience unforgettable. We can’t wait to share what makes us who we are because there’s truly nothing like it."
