Crowing Achievement This past June, Kinley Shoemaker (Epsilon Beta-Butler) took home the Miss Indiana 2025 crown following a week-long competition filled with interviews, talent performances and appearances across Indianapolis. This isn’t Kinley’s first time on the pageant stage — she previously competed twice for Miss Indiana Teen, winning the title in 2023. A standout on campus and in her community, Kinley has long inspired those around her with her drive and heart. “It was a true privilege to carry Alpha Phi throughout the week,” she says. “I’m excited to represent my sisters at Miss America this fall!” Your sisters are cheering you on, Kinley!
Alpha Chapter President Anna Fishburn (center) celebrates her victory, surrounded by chapter sisters.
Anna Fishburn (Alpha-Syracuse) is racking up well-deserved recognition. Just before wrapping up her junior year at Syracuse University, Anna, president of Alpha Chapter, was named Panhellenic Member of the Year by the university’s office of fraternity and sorority affairs. Anna credited the women around her for helping her reach this personal achievement. “My success would not be the same without the incredible women of Alpha Phi. My executive board has not only been confident and innovative, but they’ve also supported my ideas and pushed me to make them even better.” And that’s not all. Alpha Chapter was one of just two (out of 55) Greek organizations on campus to receive the Most Exemplary Chapter honor. Of this impressive honor, Anna says, “This is a remarkable achievement, as we were recognized by the university for demonstrating excellence in all five areas of accreditation assessment: academics, community, member development, personal responsibility and service.”
