Our Fearless Founders at Convention 1914
Alpha Phi Founders Louise Shepard Hancock, Clara Bradley Wheeler Baker Burdette, Clara Sittser Williams, Ida Gilbert Houghton and Martha Foote Crow pose for a photo at Convention 1914. The only living Founder absent from this photograph was Rena Michaels Atchison. Since that moment was captured, our sisterhood has flourished. It continues to branch out like ivy across campuses and communities. More than a century later, our Founders would be proud of us all for nurturing our Fraternity’s legacy.
