Please note that no one may receive a higher discount than 75% off the base price, the exception to this is the Recruiter Discount. First, the income-based discount is applied, and then the next highest discount is applied to the reduced amount, and so on, down to the lowest discount. Scholarship can only be determined after this. Scholarship Social Scholarship: Students from Hungary, Portugal, Central and Eastern European countries may claim a social scholarship based on their needs from the Solid Foundation Scholarship fund. There is a limited supply of scholarship funds that will be distributed based on the funds available. Resident Assistant Scholarship: Certain students are personally invited by the BI Student Life staff to serve in a leadership capacity on campus and in the dorm rooms as Resident Assistants. The Resident Assistant scholarship is 10% off the total price. The Resident Assistant scholarship cannot be combined with the social scholarship. The Hungarian teaching site does not offer US-based scholarships such as Cre8tive Discipleship, Camp Crew (STC), Student Fusion, SLU, Engage (Teens Involved), and Score. It is also important to note that the Hungarian teaching site is not part of Word of Life’s participation agreement with the U.S. Department of Education relating to Title IV funding and is, therefore, not eligible to receive federal funding such as the Pell Grant or Stafford Loan. PAYMENT SCHEDULE Fees may be paid all at once at the beginning of the school year or in three installments in September (paying for September-December), in January (paying for January) and February (paying for February to May), within 7 days after receipt of the bill via email. Students may use cash, bank transfer, or credit card to pay their school fees. Each student is expected to have completed all arrangements necessary to meet any and all financial obligations by Registration. Grades are issued only to students whose accounts are paid in full. Certificates and final transcripts are not issued until all financial obligations have been met. REFUNDS If a student withdraws or is dismissed from school, tuition refunds will be granted on the following basis: Refunds will be granted on the actual number of weeks remaining in the semester at the time of withdrawal or dismissal.
