1. How long have you been in law enforcement? For almost 25 years spanning three different police departments - Ventura PD, Citrus Heights PD, and Auburn PD. 2. Do you have a "best thing" you remember about your high school experience? I was fortunate to play high school sports throughout my high school years, including football, wrestling, and track & field. My senior year and last year of football, we were league champions. The first in a very long time for my school. 3. What do you like to do outside of work (hobbies)? Outside of work I like to relax by the pool, play CHIEF RYAN KINNAN

Simply, corn tortillas, onions, cilantro, and carne asada. Delicioso!! 5. What's your favorite travel destination? Somewhere on the beach. Traveling to the Caribbean Islands is the favorite destination, golf with my kids, and travel. 4. What's your favorite food? I have been the Police Chief of Auburn for almost six years. During this time, as an adjunct professor for Sierra College, I have taught two criminal justice classes at Placer High School. I spent four years in the U.S. Marine Corps as an Air Delivery Specialist (parachute rigger) and had 75 jumps from airplanes and helicopters. Grenada, Saint Lucia, the Bahamas are the highlights. 6. Any fun facts about you that you'd like to share?

1. How long have you been in law enforcement? I’ve been in law enforcement for 17 years. 2. Do you have a "best thing" you remember about your high school experience (involved in sports, activities, etc.)? My fondest memories are snow skiing and riding off- road motorcycles with my buddies. 3. What do you like to do outside of work (hobbies)? I enjoy riding off-road motorcycles, scuba diving, building and flying remote control airplanes, riding stand- up & sit-down jetskis, and deep-sea fishing. 4 . 1. How long have you been in law enforcement? I’ve been in law enforcement for about 6 years - 4.5 years with APD. 2. Do you have a "best thing" you remember about your high school experience (involved in sports, activities, etc.)? I was involved with the Cross Country and Dance teams.
3. What do you like to do outside of work (hobbies)? I enjoy physical fitness and lifting weights. Outside of the gym, I enjoy cooking, camping, and boating with my family. 4. What’s your favorite food? That would have to be Indian food. 5 . What's your favorite travel destination? I have traveled worldwide and my favorite place is Jamaica. 6. Any fun facts about you that you'd like to share? Before I became a Police Officer, I went to Culinary school and was a chef. 7. Tell us about your family. I am married to a wonderful man named Ben. We have been together 12 years and last year we got married. I have a 19-year-old son serving our Country in the USAF, a 16-year-old stepson, and a 15-year-old son.
