found the process. Originally from the North of England, near Liverpool, before her move to our wonderful paradise island, Carly had been living in New Zealand for about eight years, so she was no stranger to making a new life for herself in a foreign land. So have a read, let her calm any nerves and assure you that moving to Antigua & Barbuda is probably going to be the best decision you’ve ever made… What made you decide to move to Antigua & Barbuda? After enjoying a great 8–9 years in New Zealand, I felt like a change of scenery. I love to learn and travel and after exploring other parts of the world I realised experiencing new things is the best way to grow and appreciate what the world has to offer. It also helps that moving here is then being only half way across the ditch, so much less travel time to visit family. What do you like in particular about living and working in Antigua? I love the laidback attitude, the simplicity of beach life and the weather. Which part of the island have you decided to live on and why? I chose to live on the West Coast mainly for the beaches. I love the sea on the west side as it’s a lot calmer over here and more of what I picture when I think of a Caribbean beach. Fortunately, the property where I am is approximately 2 minutes walk to the beach – heaven!
