beach is easily accessed through the Jolly Harbour community, which has a large number of shops and facilities which visitors can use including, supermarket, pharmacy, beach bars, restaurants, and jet ski rental. The powdery white sand and the shallow, clear waters make Jolly Beach ideal for long, leisurely walks and swimming. This is our local favourite, with its stunning sunsets making it the perfect afternoon outing and be sure to watch for the “green flash”! Pearns Point: A sanctuary for those seeking seclusion. This peninsula flaunts seven pristine beaches, often deserted, giving you the luxury of feeling like you have found your very own personal haven. Dickenson Bay Beach: White powder sand beaches, gentle turquoise waters and located just a few miles north of St. John’s, it is probably one of Antigua’s most famous and frequently visited beaches due to its vibrant atmosphere and plethora of amenities. Visitors can indulge in a variety of water sports or just spend time relaxing in the tranquil waters which are ideal for swimmers of all ages. We love the beach front dining here and the proximity of the numerous restaurants to the water, making it one of our favourite day time spots.

WEST COAST A Popular Paradise; With pristine beaches seamlessly leading one, into the next, creating an almost endless shoreline, the West Coast beckons sunset worshippers and water enthusiasts alike. Darkwood Beach: The calm and gentle waters of Darkwood Beach make it perfect for swimming and snorkelling. The waters are clear, allowing for good visibility when exploring the underwater world where you will find a variety of marine life. There is also a vibrant beach bar and restaurant, if you fancy staying into the evening and enjoying one of the stunning sunsets. We often visit for a day out in the water with the kids for a bit of everything, snorkelling, sandcastles, swimming and tasty food. Jolly Beach: This expansive stretch of powdery white sand, is popular with visitors as it boasts several beach bars and restaurants, and a lively atmosphere, but if you are seeking shade under the trees or a tranquil nook away from the crowd, don’t worry, the beach is almost a mile long, and you are sure to find a calm spot.
